Zayedali

Hello! I’m Zayedali, a third year molecular & cellular biology student at Vanderbilt University. Originally from the City College of New York, I was a biology major interested in the medical field. As I began to explore my former universities resources in volunteer opportunities, classes, and research positions, I found myself looking for more than what could be found at City College. Naturally, I drew towards transferring to a university that had everything I wanted in spades. 

While transferring, I quickly found it to be a task far more complex than I could have imagined, running through the paces of college applications entirely blind while balancing all other commitments. Hundreds of hours of writing, researching, and editing later, I’m at Vanderbilt and I truly couldn’t say I’d be happier anywhere else. 

At UniSpring, I want to lend my experience and strengths to helping students who were once in my position to reach the university where they can explore their potential with all the resources they need.
