Fareed

Hello, my name is Fareed Khan. I'm currently a 4th-year undergraduate at UCLA majoring in Economics and transferred here from my local community college, Mt. San Antonio College where I was a Business Administration major. At my community college, I worked as a tutor for my fellow undergraduates, which helped me polish my communication skills and taught me how to translate the challenging experiences I've been through into a helpful resource for others, something that is incredibly useful for my current work at UniSpring. It was also through this job that I discovered how rewarding it can be to guide others to success, which is big reason why I jumped at the chance to join UniSpring, as in many ways, I am doing the same kind of work.

After transferring, I am currently involved with several clubs on campus and volunteer at the West LA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gaming, and long walks.

Transferring to a 4-year institution isn't easy for anyone and I know first-hand as a Business/Economics major, this pathway is certainly no exception. Having gone through the whole process myself and learning what works and what doesn't, I want to use these experiences to help you avoid making the same mistakes, and successfully transfer to the university of your dreams.
